Dear Fellow Lions,
As we start into a new Lions Year, I would like to wish you all a great summer with lots of great memories to be made. I have been busy preparing for my year as your District Governor. I hope I will make you all proud. We have a great team in N2 and I look forward to working with them as we work together to make our District stronger and more visible to the communities we serve. In turn, we will be able to provide more service to those in need. The registration has gone out for the Summer DGO happening in Milford on Aug. 23. I look forward to seeing everyone there. The Lions Park Society is planning a stone committal at 3pm after the DGO. The park now has a washroom and horseshoe pits. You can bring your washer-toss games as well. It would be a great time for fun, fellowship and laughter. I still have a few positions in the district that remain unfilled. I am not looking for names just to put in to fill in a blank. I want to fill the positions with lions who want the position because it means something to them, or they want to learn more about it, they are N2 District Marketing Chairperson and N2 District Peace Poster and Drug Awareness Chairperson. I am also looking for clubs that would entertain hosting the Spring Convention. Please send me your ideas and quotes. If you are interested but feel you might not be up for the challenge, please remember that we have lots of great lions who have done it before that would be willing to aid and mentor you. I look forward to hearing from you. I look forward to serving you as your District Governor for the Lions year 2025-26 and I hope together we will make N2 come in 1st place in servicing our communities.
